Sense-XT Innovations is proud to announce the grant of a patent for an innovative vacuum-assisted synthesis process that enables the rapid preparation of carbon quantum dots and graphene quantum dots.

To mark this important milestone, a copy of the granted patent was formally presented to the Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University, Prof. Chiranjib Bhattacharjee.

The patented technology introduces a fast and efficient method for synthesizing quantum dots within a remarkably short processing time. The process has the potential to support scalable production of advanced quantum materials for applications in sensing, healthcare, electronics, energy, and emerging quantum technologies.

Jadavpur University has been recognized as the patentee, while Prof. Sourav Sarkar, research scholars Manas Thakur and Sk. Najes Riaz—founders of Sense-XT Innovations—and the other contributors have been acknowledged as inventors.

This achievement reflects the strong research and innovation ecosystem fostered by Jadavpur University and the continued support of the National Quantum Mission and Qmet Tech.

Sense-XT Innovations remains committed to translating advanced research in quantum materials, nanotechnology, and sensing into reliable and impactful technologies. We look forward to building on this achievement and contributing to India’s growing quantum technology and deep-tech ecosystem.
